Event Overview

Prepare for the ultimate gaming event of the year – PlayPark All-Stars 2024: Nevareth Siege Battle. This is not just a tournament; it’s a battleground where legends are born and champions are crowned. The heart of the city will pulse with the rhythm of battle as contenders from across the nation gather to showcase their prowess and claim the throne of supremacy.

Tournament Schedule & Format:

  • On-ground Location Battles:

    • Each leg will be a test of tenacity in a single eliminationbest-of-one match.
    • Best of 3 matches during the leg finals.
    • The tournament will kick off with a series of on-ground location battles across six cities:
      • Makati: April 7
      • Cebu: April 20
      • Cavite: May 11
      • Baguio: May 25
      • Davao: June 8
      • Iloilo: June 29
  • Online Wildcard Eliminations:

    • Single Elimination Best of 1 Format
    • Teams that did not win in their respective areas will have a chance to bounce back through the Online Wildcard elimination matches.
      • WildCard North: For teams from Makati, Cavite, and Baguio
      • WildCard South: For teams from Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo

  • Online Final 8:

    • The intensity rises as the online matches continue to sizzle with the Final 8 showdown. This stage will determine the final two teams that will advance to the next round.
    • Champions from each leg location, including Makati, Cebu, Dasma Cavite, Baguio, Davao, Iloilo, WildCard North & WildCard South, will collide in a Single eliminationBest of 3 format
  • Onground PlayPark Finals:

    • The crème de la crème, the top 2 teams, will engage in a fierce Best of 5 series to determine the ultimate victor.
    • The journey culminates in October, with the final two teams going head-to-head in the Onground PlayPark Finals. This ultimate battle will be the highlight of the event, where the champions of the Nevareth Siege Battle will be crowned.

  • Voucher Code: This code grants you a Coin, which can be exchanged for a Door Prize Giftbox via NPC Yul Girl in Bloody Ice.

  • Exchange Period: Exchange with NPC Yul Girl is available only within 7 days post-event.
    • Example:
      • Event Day: April 7
      • Code Expiration: April 10 (3 Days post-event)
      • Last Day for Exchange with NPC Yul: April 14 (7 Days post-event)

Registration Process:

  • On-ground Registration: Secure your team’s spot in person. Purchase a Door Prize for 500 PHP (CASH ONLY) and register on a first-come, first-served basis. A minimum of 4 teams and a maximum of 32 teams will be accepted. Note: The tournament will not proceed if fewer than 4 teams are registered.
  • Participant Requirements: All warriors must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid ID with a signature to enter the arena.

Team Dynamics:

  • Team Size: Teams will consist of 5 valiant players, with the option to have up to 2 substitutes ready to step into the fray.
  • Accounts to use: Pre-generated accounts (Tournament accounts that have identical set of stats and equipment)

Map: 

All Qualifiers battles will be waged on the iconic Saint Island within the Lakeside Map, a terrain that demands strategy and skill.

Wildcard Round matches onwards will be played on Arcane Trace.

Prize Pool:

  • Champion: 150,000 PHP in cash, a 60-day Master Pallad Armor Set, and the prestigious 60-day Event Title “The Conqueror”.
  • 1st Runner Up: 30,000 PHP in cash, a 30-day Master Pallad Armor Set, and a 30-day Event Title “The Conqueror”.
  • 2nd Runner Up: 15,000 PHP in cash, a 15-day Master Pallad Armor Set, and a 15-day Event Title “The Conqueror”.
  • 3rd Runner Up: 5,000 PHP in cash, a 7-day Master Pallad Armor Set, and a 7-day Event Title “The Conqueror”.
  • Per Location Rewards:
    • Champion:

      • 50,000 PHP in cash for 16 to 32 participating teams,
      • 25,000 PHP for 8 to 15 teams
      • No cash prize for 4 to 7 teams
      • Every five members will receive 5 billion Alz.
    • 1st Runner Up: Each member will receive 1 Billion Alz.
  • Consolation Prizes: Participants will receive Platinum Wing, Silver Wing, Superior, and Plus, each for 30 days.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Appeals and concerns will be reviewed by the Tournament Committee.
  • Team captains are responsible for promptly addressing any issues that may arise during the tournament and ensuring that these concerns are effectively communicated to the designated tournament marshal.
  • Post-tournament concerns will not be entertained.
  • Participants must agree to abide by Cabal Franchise Team and PlayPark Tournament Committee rules.
  • Media materials may be recorded, used, and distributed by PlayPark and affiliates.
  • Tournament facilitators will manage instances of foul play, issue warnings, and make final decisions regarding the proceedings.
  • Any disruptions to the match necessitate the intervention of the Tournament Marshal.
  • Tournament participants may bring and set up approved personal mobile or tablet, unless prohibited in specific legs.
  • Emulator are not allowed in this tournament.
  • Participants are required to demonstrate respectful and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
  • Item rewards are Account/Character-bound unless declared tradable.
  • Engaging in unruly conduct will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Individuals who are employees, suppliers, or service providers of PlayPark, as well as their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity, are ineligible for participation.
  • PlayPark reserves the right to withhold prizes from disqualified teams.
  • The decisions made by Tournament Marshals and the Tournament Committee are considered conclusive and are not subject to further review or appeal. 

Substitution Rules

  • A team may nominate up to two (2) substitute players, which will be declared during registration
  • These substitutes are not entitled to play for another team
  • They must be at least 18 years of age.

Technical and Disconnection

  • In the event of any technical difficulties during the match, the captains shall arrive with a decision. If, in any case, no mutual decision has been made, the tournament marshal has the FINAL SAY.
  • Only the team captain can amend any technical issues during the match, which can be addressed the same day ONLY.
  • All game disconnections or interruptions that happen past the 1-minute mark will not be entertained by the tournament marshal.
  • If one (1) or two (2) members are disconnected before the 1-minute mark of an ongoing tournament and if there are no casualties in both teams, the affected match will restart. 
    • However, the match will continue and the disconnected members will be considered dead for that round.

Time Limit & Management:

  • Each match lasts for 5 minutes. If both teams have an equal number of players left after the initial 5 minutes, a 3-minute time extension will be granted. The match outcome will be decided based on the health percentage of the remaining players at the end of the initial 5 minutes and any additional time extension.

Fouls

  • Zoning Foul – This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game.
    • 1st Offense: Warning
    • 2nd Offense: Round disqualification
  • Striking Foul – This covers striking your opponent before the tournament marshal says “FIGHT” or striking any of the Tournament Marshals in-game.
    • 1st Offense: Warning
    • 2nd Offense: Round Disqualification
  • Technical Foul – This is any violation of the requirements, match flow, line-up management, tournament accounts improper use, limitations, and general rules.
    • 1st Offense: Warning
    • 2nd Offense: Round Loss
  • Skill Foul – This is defined as using skills in the tournament area before the countdown by the head marshal.
  • Conduct Foul – This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals, including the marshals. The penalty for this is Team Match Disqualification.
  • Item Foul – Usage of Frontier Stone and/or any HP related potion during the match will result in round disqualification
  • Resurrection Foul – resurrect on the spot during the match, Players should wait for the signal before they resurrect or proceed back to the area

These rules and guidelines are subject to change at the discretion of the administration. Participants are advised to stay updated with official announcements.

Match Flow:

  • Team captains will undergo an orientation for the guidelines and procedures, and will subsequently disseminate this information to their respective teams.
  • There will be a coin toss to determine what platform will be used first.
    • Procyon: Top Bracket
    • Capella: Bottom Bracket
  • All characters to be used will be pre-generated.
  • A VETO-Ban will be implemented for the start of each round
  • During the match, there will be a toss of the coin as to who will choose the VETO-Banning:
    • Ban-First (Both teams will Ban a class first, then pick until they get their 5-character-class line-up.)
    • Pick-First (Both teams will Pick a class first, then ban until they get their 5-character-class line-up.)
  • Only players on the Match List are allowed in the area.
  • The GM will announce the teams for each match and issue commands (READY, BUFF UP, FIGHT) to indicate the progression of the match.
